Karaja is a village in the Northeast of the Heriz area. Weaving has been carried out here for about 200 years. They are usually in smaller sizes and runners with a row of medallions. The larger ones resemble Heriz with madder reds or indigo blue fields. They would also have creams and light blues. These are single wefted, closely woven and well finished.
