Perpedil is the name of a town southeast of Kuba, in the Daghestan region of the Caucasus. These rugs were made exceptionally fine and dense and mostly with the co called Kufic border. They are distinguished by the unique shaped motif of a stylized ram horn. Perpedil rugs are highly in demand by collectors.
