Rare antique Bakhtiar carpet. This piece has many interesting and unusual features. The boteh (Paisley) design is woven with pretty colours, and it is actually one boteh inside another. It is very rare to find cream ground Bakhtiars. The piece itself is in excellent condition, and the lovely colour combination makes it an easy piece to place. The natural dyes and very good quality handspun wool have contributed to the decorative look of this piece.
