Decorative antique Bakhtiar kilim. It isn’t easy to find Bakhtiar kilims in these dimensions, as like most Persian kilims the bigger sizes are usually long and narrow. The field is decorated with repeated diamonds, which is framed with a pretty geometric border. The feel and character can only be properly appreciated close up, as you would be able to feel the soft, shiny wool and the effect of the ageing of the natural dyes. Some small stains are shown, which can be removed for a special price of £190.
