Unusual antique Bakhtiar rug from West of Iran. A very interesting take on tree of life on a dark blue back ground, framed with a lighter blue border with stylised flower heads. The guard border with a light brown ground has a delicate stylised design of flowers and stems. A wonderful piece with small restorations as shown, otherwise in good condition.
