Dorokhsh is a town in the Northeast of Iran. There are not many carpets from this town on the market. However, most of the available ones are of very good quality and design. There are four rows of cartouches on soft red ground decorated with stylised trees. The floral dark blue border brings the whole carpet together. There are small areas of wear but overall it has a good pile for the age.
