Heriz in this size is difficult to come by, especially in such good condition. The lovely shade of red ground has been decorated with different small motifs and a triple medallion. The light blue spandrels and the darker blue with stylised leaves complete this splendid rug. The pile is evenly low, and both ends have been rewoven expertly.
