Stunning antique Qashqai Rug from the tribes of South Iran. There are so many charming elements in just the four corners of this piece. It has a very spontaneous medallion, which is indicative of the free-flowing design concept of Tribal pieces. The lustrous wool, dyed with natural plant extracts is very soft and glowing. The cream border anchors the whole piece wonderfully. A few knots are missing from both edges and one end. Also some signs of wear, none of which detract from the beauty of this piece.
