Baluch rugs are known for their deep colours, especially their reds. The hue of red here is slightly different. The bold elephant foot design in the centre is surrounded by various motifs on a dark blue background. It has a fascinating motif with the “S” design. What makes this piece quite special is the outer guard border multicoloured motifs. Some small repairs, expertly done. A good collector’s piece.
