Unusual vintage Hamedan rug from West of Iran. Hamedan has many different designs. However, this even by Hamedans standards is very unusual and truly a one-off. Two large botehs (Paisley) at the bottom with a stem rising between them turning into a blue tree, with stylised fish and boteh design. Multi-coloured jagged border. Low in places with the sign of wear. Good condition for the age.
