Charming vintage Heinegoon Bakhtiar rug from West of Iran. Heinegoon rugs are usually long and narrow but this piece has very good dimensions. The navy ground  has so many different motifs, such as horses, peacocks and flower heads scattered around it. The Central medallion of the triple medallion has the Persian date 1354, which corresponds to 1975. The cream geometric border balances the piece in terms of colour beautifully. There is a small bit of fringe missing. Some of our clients do not want us to alter or repair these. We can replace the missing fringes, should you require, for a special price of £50.
