Mehraban is a small town in Hamedan province, West of Iran. Good weaving and using good quality wool and dyes is their trademark. They started using even better quality dyes and design in the early eighties and better quality wool. This piece is one of those pieces. The use of soft red for the background and indigo blue and soft yellow for the leaves and guard border has resulted in a stylish carpet that can elevate any living room.
