This sub-tribe of Qashqai, called Hassanabad, weaving is one of the best with its tight weave and high-quality dyes. They invariable produce very robust pieces that can stand the test of time. One distinctive design element is the bold flower head in the medallions and spandrels. The rich red ground colour and the blue corners are sprayed with tribal motifs such as bushes and trees. The multiple borders bring the whole piece together.
