Qashqai carpets larger than 300x200cm are more challenging to find. This piece is unusual in the size aspect, but it has a very unusually simple design, also very decorative. The undyed colour wool used for the field has a lot of colour changes called brush, which give so much character to this piece. Bold blood-red medallions and the geometric border lift this piece and take it to another level. There are some small areas that have signs of wear otherwise in good condition.
