Splendid vintage Shekarloo carpet from tribes of South Iran. Triple cream medallion with crosses in the centre, on a rich red ground decorated with stars and Hashtgol (eight paisleys in shape of a flower head). The two end medallion have the Hashtgol design at the end of each arm. The cream geometric border sets the whole piece off.
