A kilim is a pileless, flat-woven rug made by interweaving coloured wefts and warps, creating crisp, graphic designs. Unlike knotted (pile) carpets, kilims are thin, flexible and often reversible, making them versatile for floors, walls and layering.

How to pick the right size kilim

• Hallway & entry: runners (approx. 60–90 cm × 200–350 cm).
• Living room: leave ~20–30 cm border; front sofa legs on the rug.
• Dining: add ~60 cm beyond the table so chairs stay on the rug.
