Magnificent antique Bakhtiar kilim. Multi-coloured lozenge ground encased in a three-layered border. Bakhtiar region is known for its use of natural dyes in its weaving. Bakhtiar did not use to have a high kilim production, but the pieces it did produce were all very high quality. This piece is unique due to its age, size and colours. Very high-quality dyes and wool have been used in this piece. A true collector’s piece.
