This superb Sulatanabad carpet is one of our production pieces, which has gone through a process to achieve an antique look without harming the piece’s integrity. The high-quality handspun wool and natural dyes have added to the depth of colour you can see. The unique greyish-brown ground colour contains large palmetts and leaves set out in an exciting layout. Notice the lovely abrush throughout the piece, especially the ground colour. The main light blue border has an exquisite design of stylised flower heads and leaves. Of note is the excellent proportions of this piece. This is an antique of the future with a decorative colour combination.
