Beautiful, elegant antique Kashan rug from central Iran. There is a picture of a building in the centre of the piece within a rose garland. The whole thing is set within a niche design with pillars on either side and a vase at the bottom, with a bouquet. The border design is unusual as it contains chrysanthemums as well as roses, with birds. This is an excellent piece for a collector, especially as it is in excellent condition.
