The triple border and finely woven jijim finish at both ends elevate this piece to another level. . This is an excellent example of wonderful Qashqai kilim weaving. Only the very fine Qashqai kilims have this jijim finish. While they are both flatweaves but the technique is different in jijim weaving to kilim. The vibrant colours and the sheen result from using very high-quality wool and natural dyes, which have matured beautifully through ageing.
