Attractive antique Qashqai rug from the tribes of South Iran. The outstanding colours in this piece are due to the natural dyes’ ageing and the handspun wool. The horse’s heads are on top of multicoloured columns with Hashgul (eight paisleys) medallion and spandrels. The medallion is not quite centred, which adds to the charm of this tribal piece.
