Rugs from Borojerd come under the Hamedan province rugs and are usually just referred to as Hamedan. They are invariably dark blue ground with lozenges and fish design in the field. The red border is decorated with stylised flowerheads and joined by stems. This piece is in excellent condition and would be a perfect addition to any home.
