Sweet vintage Kurdish bag face from Northeast of Iran. There are two techniques of flat weaving used in making this bag face. Parts of it are a Somak weave, a common way of weaving amongst the Kurds of Ghoochan. The design is simple bands of colour with raindrop and flower head motifs.
