Very unusual vintage Qashqai kilim. Qashqai kilims are usually not bigger than rug size and very rarely square size. The tartan design and the few naturally dyed colours that have been used in this piece make it interesting and very decorative. The weave is quite heavy, unlike usual Qashqai kilims. It was woven in two halves and then sewn together. This could have been because it was used as a tent entrance.
