Qashqai rugs come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all interesting pieces. This piece has three bold medallions on changing shades of red in the ground colour, which really adds to the charm of this tribal piece. The ground is decorated with quite a few tribal motifs including large stylised fish. The star design cream border is framed with chevron guard border. There are some signs of wear commensurate with the age of this piece. Otherwise, a good robust rug, priced very competitively.
