The design centres around the Hashtgol medallion, formed from eight stylised paisleys placed at the corners. In Persian tradition, Hashtgol represents abundance and balance. Within each medallion appears the symbol of Ahura Mazda, a powerful emblem of wisdom, light, and harmony. These motifs were woven with intention, not decoration alone.
The deep red and blue tones are achieved using traditional dyes and handspun wool, giving the surface a soft sheen and natural depth. The field is animated with small animal motifs, adding quiet movement and narrative charm, while the geometric cream border brings structure and calm to the composition.
