Charming antique Lori strap from West of Iran. This nomadic strap is used for tying-up loads that are put on a donkey or camel for transport. The strap is fed through the wooden lock at the end and tightened using the wooden lock. The decorations on it are intriguing. The colourful pompoms have been sewn in afterwards. These items are becoming increasing more difficult to find, especially in good condition.
