Description
Rare antique Mahal runner from Central Iran. Mahal runners are readily available, but finding one in this design and size is rare. The clear rose field with the many abrushes and changes of colour adds so much character to this piece. The use of handspun wool and natural dyes enhances the colours. The simple triple border gives a certain elegance to this corridor rug. The runner shows signs of wear in places, as shown in the images. This decorative runner would light up any corridor.
