Classic Tekke Turkmen Carpet – Six Rows of Elephant Foot Design
This classic Tekke Turkmen carpet exemplifies the bold geometry and deep cultural symbolism of tribal Central Asian weaving. Featuring six distinctive rows of elephant foot guls on a purply red ground, this piece is a strong statement in traditional design.
The geometric border frames the central field beautifully, while the authentic kilim end finish adds another layer of craftsmanship and charm. One of the unique aspects of this rug is a slight colour change in the field, which is much subtler in person than shown in photos. This minor imperfection is reflected in the price, making it an excellent opportunity to acquire a genuine tribal piece at great value.
Woven with handspun wool and natural dyes, this Tekke carpet has a soft feel and lustrous appearance. It’s a durable, decorative, and collectible piece, ideal for adding character to a study, lounge, hallway, or layered with other rugs.

I have no hesitation in recommending Sharifi & Co. He is an expert on carpets and kilims and clearly loves and appreciates them. His company washed, repaired and moth proofed my beautiful Uzbek kilim within a very short time. Thank you very much Sharifi & Co.

It was a great pleasure doing business with Mr. Sharafi, he knows and loves rugs and that is reflected in the excellent work he has done restoring and repairing mine. They’re looking lovely (and I promise I’ll take good care of them!) Thank you.

Looking for someone who specialises in cleaning persian rugs is like walking a minefield. Thank goodness I found Sharafi. I knew I was on the right track when I heard the National Trust gets their antique rugs done there. Ok no more drinking red wine on valuable heirloom…
