Vintage Persian kilims are predominantly in smaller sizes or long and narrow. This decorative Afshar kilim is a good room size that would be suitable for under a dining table. The overall lozenge design is framed with a jagged border, finished off at both ends with pretty colour strips. The fringes at one end have been tied together to form a very strong stop-end, which prolongs the life of the kilim.
