The famous lions of the Fars province are very sought after. Gabbeh lions are collector’s items, especially the ones on a grey or speckled background. The deep red colour of the lions is beautiful with the stylised bushes at either side. What is quite fun with this piece is the teeth and the tail. This is a lovely piece for a kids room.
