Elegant vintage Najafabad carpet. Najafabad is located near ISFAHAN in central Iran. They produce pieces that resemble the Isfahan rugs. The colour schemes vary from different shades of reds to blues to ivory. They have traditional medallion patterns, and the pattern is usually close to Isfahan or Kashan. This piece has the Isfehan design with cream ground and terracotta border and medallion.
