The city of Saveh and the surrounding village do not have a large production of kilims, but the ones they weave are invariably of excellent quality, design and colour. This piece is no exception, with its dazzling lozenge design surrounded by a cream border. Kilims are pretty underrated. However, this is an excellent example of an engaging decorative piece.
