Superb antique Varamin kilim with handspun wool and natural dyes. The production of kilims from Varamin has been relatively small but invariably good quality and exciting designs. Notice the waves in the camel ground colour with an impressive multicoloured medallion that is partly repeated around the edge of the Kilim. The Kilim is finished at either end with a sweet, small flower head design—a good collector’s piece.
